Leuke zaak aan de gracht. We kwamen hier lunchen. Ze hebben geen groot terras, maar de deuren kunnen helemaal open, dus zit je, afhankelijk van waar je zit, nog redelijk 'buiten'. De zon schijnt hier ook, dus je zit goed in de zon.

Ik nam een huisgemaakte limonade met gember en sinaasappel. Deze was ok, redelijk zoet. En het kwam met plat water ipv bruisend, wat besteld was. En voor lunch nam ik het 12-uurtje. Deze kwam met een maissoep met gele paprika, een broodje oesterzwamkroket en een salade. Alles was eigenlijk prima. Qua portie niet te klein en niet te groot. De prijs was ook prima.

Leuk om nog eens te komen voor lunch. Andere lunchgerechten lijken mij lekker om een andere keer te proveren.

Had a reservation months in advance, arranged for a band (!) to come play. On the day itself, with a couple of hours to go, I get a call that there's no staff because of vacations (among other things I reckon?). Everything cancelled. I'm still somewhat amazed about the level of unprofessionalism.

Aside from that: visited the place quite a few times, it's cute and the location is great. The staff is nice on occasion.

Possibly the most chill spot in Utrecht:
1. Staff are awesome - I forgot the Dutch don't use MasterCard much and had run out of cash so couldn't pay, barman's response... "Ah don't worry about it, you can come back and pay us another day, I trust you"
2. Great coffee/beer/food
3. Constant classics playing through their old school speakers next to the cool retro furniture
4. Perfect view of the canal
